WINK Rayleigh Celebrates 10^th Birthday

In March, WINK Rayleigh turned 10 and we celebrated in style! Thank you to our committee member Jane for the impromptu talk about her professional dancing days and the ballet lesson after our planned speaker was unable to attend. Everyone enjoyed the short routine and for many it was their first time doing ballet. Elaine, our Secretary, made a delicious cake decorated in our signature pink and purple colours and we toasted with a glass of Nozeco bubbly.

Our President Gill organised a fun ‘get to know you’ game which caused great hilarity and prompted some funny conversations. We were joined by some new members and visitors too and everyone went home with a celebratory tin of old fashioned travel sweets as a nod to tin being the traditional 10^th anniversary gift.

WINK Rayleigh would like to thank all past and present members for their kindness, support and friendship over the last ten years and we look forward to another fun-filled decade!
